We‘re proud to be the only tour company in Scotland that offers foreign language audio guides on our 1-day tours. While our guides lead the tours in English, we’ve got translations available in German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, and Mandarin, with more languages to follow.
Free Foreign Language Translations
These are available to download for free, once you have purchased your tour. When you receive your e-ticket, there will be a link to a page where you can download the zipped file and load into onto your own MP3 player, ipod or iphone. There are a number of units available for hire at no additional cost. Please bring your own headphones if you can. Alternatively, disposable headphone will be provided free of charge.

Free Audio Guides for Download
Once you’ve booked your tour, you’ll receive a link in your e-ticket to download the translations for free. The zipped file can easily be transferred to your device. For the smoothest experience, we recommend downloading the file over Wi-Fi before your tour starts. We also ask that you please bring your own headphones.
Audio Guide Units
We also have a limited number of handheld audio guides available for free during check-in at our Edinburgh reservations office. Be sure to bring your own headphones with a standard 3.5mm jack (our devices aren't USB-C compatible). If you don’t have your own, there are disposable headphones available at no extra cost.
These audio guides cover the key stories told by our guides, making them ideal for those who do not speak English. The devices are geolocated, so they’ll automatically play the right track based on your location.
